Advanced ergonomics optimized for care
The interior of the Satis + incubator by médipréma has been designed so that the nursing staff can easily access the child thanks to its two large drop-down doors with portholes and a double door on the head and foot sides. The numerous openings in the passenger compartment make it possible to optimise the care given to the child (11 holes to facilitate the passage of sensors and hoses).
The outgoing tray (rotating optional) is ideal for effortless access to the child’s head, thus promoting precise and delicate care.
On the other hand, the transparent plexiglass interior ensures perfect visibility of the child on 5 sides.
The incubator is equipped with plenty of storage space and is available in a height-adjustable version to optimize the working position of medical teams.
A reliable and intuitive thermoregulation and humidification system without compromising the child’s comfort
The Satis + closed incubator from médipréma has a precise, reliable and intuitive thermoregulation system with five temperature control modes.
There are air and skin control modes, present on all medipréma incubators, to which are added the Heating Shutdown mode which allows the thermo-hygrometric regulation of the incubator to be stopped while maintaining the renewal of the air in the passenger compartment (the monitoring of the child’s skin temperature remains possible), the twin mode adapted to the simultaneous monitoring of two newborns via two skin probes and the tenderness mode which secures skin-to-skin sessions.
Médipréma has designed a unique head-to-head (and not frontal) ventilation system that directs warm air along the walls of the passenger compartment, thus ensuring that the required temperature is maintained inside. It also promotes safe access to the child when opening doors without the risk of burns. The Satis+ Neonatal Resuscitation Incubator benefits from a servo-controlled humidification system (automatic mode available) with easy access to the water tray and a visual and audible alarm in case of lack of water in the tank.
These different modes are easily programmable thanks to the incubator’s intuitive color LCD touch screen that allows real-time information to be viewed in the form of a curve. It also provides good visibility of settings and alarms with the ability to mute contactless alarms (all saved data can be accessed on PC for processing or storage).

THERMAL REGULATION:
- Air mode: regulation from 20 to 39°C (with safe extension below 28°C and above 37°C).
- Cutaneous mode: regulation from 35 to 39°C (with safe extension beyond 37°C).
- Tenderness Mode: mode adapted to skin-to-skin sessions
- Twin mode: control mode suitable for simultaneous monitoring of 2 newborns
- Heating shutdown mode: stop the thermo-hygrometric regulation of the incubator with maintenance of air renewal in the passenger compartment and monitoring of the child’s skin temperature.
Fast and safe temperature rise without exceeding the set temperature. Use of Pt1000 platinum resistance temperature sensors, which vary almost entirely over time, which makes the control system more reliable.
ACTIVE AND SERVO-CONTROLLED HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM: by adjustable boiling from 35% to 90% (with safe extension beyond 80%).
Automatic mode also available.

OXYGEN INLET

3 groups of visual and audible alarms have been defined according to the degree of urgency of intervention for the comfort of the newborn and the medical team. Crescendo of alarms.
AMBIENT NOISE LEVEL EXCEEDANCE ALERT: allows teams to be informed of the increase in the sound level of the child’s environment compared to a preset target level. Allows all necessary measures to be taken to restore an acceptable ambient sound level.
