Carewaves by médipréma microbead cushions protect the newborn from skin damage thanks to its anti-pressure ulcer function. They limit the risk of osteoarticular deformities and muscle retractions by positioning the baby’s limbs in an adapted axis. Made of polystyrene mocrobils, the ultra-flexible positioning cushions prop the baby up without compressing them.

Comfort and freedom of movement

Médipréma products reduce pain and stress in the newborn, thus improving their overall clinical condition. By allowing voluntary movements and restricting primary reflexes, they promote motor development. The cushions also facilitate the daily care of hospital staff and contact with the baby’s entourage.

Two models are available

• The half-moon cushion

The half-moon cushion allows the child to be easily and quickly placed in an axis aligning the head, spine and legs. The risk of candlestick arms and the squashed frog position are eliminated. In the lateral, prone or supine position, the child is held securely.

• The flexitube cushion

The flexitube offers great freedom of use by allowing the cushion to be shaped according to the cases and medical needs. It can also surround the baby and thus reproduce the maternal cocoon.
